Curriculum vitae
I received a master's degree in psychology with distinction. I also completed five years of training in group analytic psychotherapy. While pursuing doctoral studies in philosophical anthropology, I also taught courses at Kharkiv University.
I began working as a psychologist at the country's largest commercial bank and was soon promoted to Deputy HR Director, specializing in candidate assessment for key positions. Later, I established the Psychological Services Division. Leading a team of over 25 psychologists, I prioritized training and quality control for accurate assessments. I developed a psychometric testing system that evaluated over 15,000 candidates and employees annually.
I traveled to the U.S. to become a qualified polygraph examiner, a role that involves assessing individuals' credibility and interpreting physiological data. Upon returning to Ukraine, I implemented this practice as part of the personnel security process for bank employees. Over the years, I conducted more than 2,000 polygraph examinations, developed policies and procedures, and trained polygraph operators for my employer.
I left my position at the bank to establish my own consulting firm, specializing in people-related risk assessments and organizational psychology services. To better manage the legal aspects of this new venture, I pursued additional education and earned a Bachelor of Laws degree. I ran the company for ten years, primarily serving large corporate clients in Eastern Ukraine.
When the war escalated, my business encountered significant challenges. With shifting priorities and declining revenue, I ultimately had to close the company. I then took on a role as an HR Coordinator at an international NGO, contributing to humanitarian efforts. During this time, I faced a major health issue that required difficult surgery and a long recovery. This experience prompted me to shift my professional focus to better accommodate my new physical condition. I decided to concentrate on computer programming because I enjoy it and see it as an opportunity to blend my existing knowledge with new technical skills.
